How we raised the money
We have had much support for our project from local small businesses (please read below to see who has supported us) as well as larger Grant Giving Charitable organisations. We have recieved grants from The Rotherfield Trust, Chalk Cliff Trust, Sussex Historic Churches Trust, Tesco, Persimmon Homes, Rotherfield Parish Council, Waitrose. We also recieved donations for the old church kneelers as well as other fundraising events. Pennies Day Nursery also support us by providing free, secure wifi connection to the building. The following businesses have made donations towards creating our Community Centre. They offer employment to local people and are part of our community; please support them and help our community to flourish.
Pennies Day Nursery is situated in the beautiful village of Mark Cross in East Sussex just outside Tunbridge Wells. The nursery offers exceptional care for sixty five children from three months to five years old. Complementing this is an out of school club facility set within a welcoming home setting and a very large garden designed to provide space and adventure for every child.

Uplands Sports Centre is situated in Wadhurst attached to Uplands Community College. We are a not-for-profit Centre that prides itself on being equipped with an excellent gym with state of the art exercise equipment.
